PS-500 LED display and vibration meanings

Confirm that you are exercising

To check on the status of your heart rate measurement, tap the screen (lightly hit it once with your finger).
You will be informed of the status based on the number of blinking LEDs. The backlight of the screen will light up as well.

Slow blinking: Heart rate is below 40% of max

Your heart rate is below the target zone. Try to increase your exercise intensity and get in the zone.
One minute after your heart rate falls below the target zone, it vibrates once, and the LED blinks.

Fast blinking: Heart rate is 40 - 49% of max

You're in the zone and doing great. You should continue exercising like this. When your heart rate level enters the target zone, it vibrates once, and the LED blinks.

You're in the zone and doing great. You should continue exercising like this. When your heart rate level enters the target zone, it vibrates once, and the LED blinks.

When your heart rate exceeds the target zone, the device vibrates once. Every minute that your heart rate is above the target zone, the device vibrates and flashes.
