Attach it to your wrist and push the [A] button.
Heart rate detection begins
- - If your heart rate cannot be detected for one minute, you will be alerted with a short vibration.
- - If your heart rate cannot be detected for three minutes, you will be alerted with a long vibration and the measurement will cease.
When you move the PS-500 it will begin attempting to detect your heart rate again.
To stop the measurement, push the [A] button.
You will see the confirmation screen shown to the left.
Push the [A] button again to stop measurement.
※ After 10 seconds with no action, it will automatically return to the measurement screen.
When your heart rate is detected, the basic measurement screen is displayed.※ Detecting your heart rate is easier for the PS-500 when your are at rest.
If the PS-500 is not moved for one minute, heart rate detection will stop.
When moved, it will begin detecting your heart rate again.
If idle for 10 minutes, it will shut off.
The various screens during measurement
The menu screen can be displayed by double tapping (lightly hitting the screen with your finger twice).
During heart rate measurement, information is displayed on screen. You can switch between the various screens by pushing the [B] button.
On the menu screen, use the [B] button to change the selected option, and the [A] button to proceed.
Backlight illumination
When the screen is tapped (lightly touched by your finger), the backlight will illuminate the screen.
It's convenient for checking the screen in the dark.
