The pulse rate could not be displayed in the app.

  • Is it pairing with your smartphone?
    In the app please go to “Settings” then “Pairing” and confirm that the device you are using is being displayed.
    If “Add new device” is displayed, please pair it with your device.

    Please turn the Bluetooth setting on the device on and connect it to your smartphone.

    Is your device in airplane mode?
    Please exit airplane mode and connect it to your smartphone.

  • Are you connected to the Internet?

    Is the LAN cable plugged in?

    Is the signal strength satisfactory?

The fat burning zone has not updated.

  • The fat burning zone is calculated based upon your age, weight, and sex.
    Depending upon your usage, it can sometimes take some time for the fat burning zone to update.

    [Update Steps]
    1. Modify your age or weight.
    2. Send or write the updated information to your device.
    3. Measurement of your updated information.
    4. Upload the measurement results.
    5. Update of the fat burning zone.

Notification such as e-mail and calendar are not linked

  • Are the settings of the application on?
    Operations Manual Notification Settings →
  • If you are using an iPhone you must set it up in the operating system.

    [iOS Settings]
    Tap the settings icon.
    Tap on “Notifications” and then activate “Allow Notifications” for phone, email and calendar.

The meter displays a low calorie value

  • The value displayed in the meter is the difference of calorie intake and calories burned.
    It may be because the difference between input (meals) and output (exercise) was small.

The calorie value displayed in the meter does not match the PS-500

  • Although the value displayed in the meter is the difference of calorie intake and calories burned, the value displayed in the PS-500 shows only the calories burned.
    This creates a difference in values.

I slept without wearing the device; can I record the sleeping time?

  • You can set it from the app.
    You can set up to 12 hours at a time.
    If you had more than 12 hours of sleep, please split it up into parts and record them.

My sleeping time is 13 hours; why does the meter show one full circle?

  • When the sleeping meter is set to “Day”, the outer ring will display so that one circle equates to 12 hours.
    Because of this, any sleep over 12 hours will be displayed as a full ring.
    For sleep times over 12 hours, please check the time in the meter.

I want to use event markers but do not know how to set it

  • Event markers use the smartphone's location information (it does not use the GPS)
    Please enable the location function of the smartphone.
    For information on how to enable it, please view the information for your smartphone.
  • Because event markers use the smartphone's location information, they cannot be set in the web application

The map is not displayed for the event markers

  • Event markers use the smartphone's location information (it does not use the GPS)

  • In order to display data for the graph of the smartphone app, the data obtained by the smartphone must be stored online.

I edited my profile due to an error, and now the smartphone's value for the fat burning zone will not change

  • After pairing the device and app, please try again in the order below
    ①If pulse is being measured, stop the process for now.
    ②Fix the profile on the app.
    ③Return to the settings screen and begin connection with the device.
    ④Begin the pulse measurement.
    ⑤Check that the measurement data is sent to the app with the meter screen.
    ⑥Stop the measurement and manually upload the data.
    ⑦Check if the value is changed in the profile screen

The marker on the map is slightly off from where I actually was

  • The location information used by the event markers depend on base station information and Wi-Fi information (it does not use the GPS)
    For this reason, a slight error is created in displaying the approximate location.

The web application will not display correctly in the smartphone

  • When viewing the web application with a smartphone, depending on the smartphone and browser, the layout may be altered.
    Please use the smartphone app or use the web application on a PC.

It takes a long time for data to update from the device.

  • Measurement data will be sent to your smartphone once it is recorded on your device.
    Ordinarily when the device connects to your smartphone using Bluetooth it transfers data once an hour and is generally finished in about 15 seconds. However, it can take some time to send additional data in cases where it was disconnected from the device for a longer length of time.

    In addition, when using an iPhone in background mode or sleep mode, communications may be cut off by the operating system and it will take some time for data to transfer when the app is started.

The event market does not display right away.

  • The event marker will not be updated until the data stored on the device has been fully uploaded.
    Please confirm that the information is up to date after the data has been updated.
