To the customers having issues with smartphone connection
If you are experiencing the following issues, please try the steps ① to ④ explained in below, to resolve the problem:
- ・Unable to connect to a smartphone after the firmware update.
- ・Bluetooth connection is not recovered.
- ・Pairing the Pulsense device to a smartphone is not possible.
- ・After the iOS updates, Bluetooth icon is blinking and cannot connect the Pulsense device to a smartphone.
① Deletes the paring information in the PULSENSE View(app)
(1)Launch the PULSENSE View app and tap the wrench icon.
(2)On the menu displayed, tap Pairing.
(3)Tap the Recycle Bin on the upper-right of the screen, and a red circle will be displayed to the left of the device name.
(4)Tap the red circle, and tap Delete next to the device name.
② Deletes the paring information from your smartphone
【To the customers using iPhone(iOS)】
※Details of operation may differ depending on your version of iOS. Please contact Apple for details.
(1)Open Settings in iOS, then open Bluetooth.
(2)Tap the(i)to the right of the PS-500 currently in use.(*)(**)
(3)Tap "Forget this device".
(4)Tap "Forget device" to confirm.
(*)The(i)mark may be not be displayed to the right of the device name on the iOS Bluetooth setting screen.In this case, power your iPhone off, then on again; afterward, recheck the Bluetooth settings screen. If the(i)mark is displayed, press the mark and delete the pairing.It may be necessary to turn your device off and on for several times.
(**)There may be some cases that the pairing information cannot be deleted even after you have performed a pairing deletion in iOS. In this case, power your iPhone off, then on again, then retry the operation.

【To the customers using Android smartphone】
※Details of operation may differ depending on your device.
(1)Open the Android Settings menu, then the Wireless and Networks menu, then Bluetooth.
(2)Tap the icon to the right of the PS-500/PS-100 in use.
(3)Tap the icon, and the "Unpair" option will be displayed tap "Unpair".
In newer firmware(ver. 01.10 & later), the "Unpair" option will not be displayed, so the operation is unnecessary.
(*)There may be some cases that the pairing information cannot be deleted even after you have performed a pairing deletion in Android. In this case, power your smartphone off, then on again, then retry the operation.
It may be necessary to turn your device off and on for several times.
③ Delete the pairing information on your PS-500/PS-100(unit)
【To the customers using the PS-500】

(1)Double tap the PS-500 to switch to the Menu screen.
(2)Press the B button(lower right)to display Bluetooth.
(3)Press the A button(upper right)to display "Run?" press the A button again.
(4)Connect the PS-500 to the cradle to charge it.
(5)When the charging screen is displayed, remove the unit from its cradle.
【To the customers using the PS-100】
※Please refer to the video.
(1)Connect the PS-100 to the cradle to charge it.
(2)Continuously tap the top part of the PS-100.
(3)Once the blue LED makes two sweeps, your device will be unpaired.
④ After performing steps ② - ③, perform the Pairing operation once again in the PULSENSE View app
After performing steps ② - ③, perform the Pairing operation once again in the PULSENSE View app(***)
(***)Even if the device pairing has been properly restored, issues may occur with the device pairing even if the above operation has been followed. If issues occur, perform steps ① - ③ again.
