The device cannot detect your heart rate. To detect your heart rate, the device needs to be worn snugly around your wrist to collect more accurate heart rate data. This may cause a slight impression on the wrist. Adjust the band for the comfort and performance you choose. Make sure the Pulsense device does not touch your ulna bone.

This is an alert and the LED display as shown in the figure on the left repeats six times. The alerts depend on your settings. You can set up a wake-up alarm, or the device can alert you when you receive an email, call, or calendar notification.
1 Remove the device from the cradle and wait.
2 Continuously tap the upper part of device 7–8 times.
3 After the LEDs blink in the pattern shown below, the LEDs will turn off and the device will be in airplane mode.
The device is in Airplane Mode.
To unlock airplane mode, tap the top part of the device repeated.
The LEDs will light up as shown in the figure on the left. Tap until the LEDs stop lighting up. Now the device is ready for use. It will begin detecting your pulse.
