PULSENSE takes five measurements to promote a healthy lifestyle:
exercise history, calories, sleep, state of mind, and number of steps.

display

Exercise

Displays the amount of time you have spent in heart rate zones over a day, week or month.
This can be summarised into 3 zones, (Above, in and below the fat burning zone) or in more detail across five zones. (warm-up, fat burning, aerobic, anaerobic, or maximum intensity)

Calorie

The calories burned fall into two principal categories: calories burned even at rest due to metabolic rate, and calories burned during exercise or other daily activities. PULSENSE displays both so you can understand how much your exercise contributes to calorie burning. You can also record meals to understand the balance of calories burned and consumed.

Mind

Displays Elevated when your heart rate is high but the accelerometer shows you are not exercising.
This could be for a number of reasons such as tension, stress or excitement.
Displays Relaxed when your heart rate is lower than normal and the accelerometer shows you are still.
PULSENSE helps you reflect back on how, where, and when your heart rate is elevated or you are relaxed to help you balance your daily life.

Sleep

PULSENSE monitors the quality of sleep automatically from body movements and heart rate. When the accelerometer is still and your heart rate falls below a certain level PULSENSE will automatically start to track your sleep patterns.
In addition when your heart rate falls further it will also track periods of light restless sleep and still deep sleep.
In the setting menu you can also use the sleep phase wake-up alarm to get you out of bed at the optimal time, so you can start your day the right way.

Steps

Records the number of steps and calculates the distance using the accelerometer to measure your body movement.
This function enables you to consciously track your general activity and exercise, so you can make small changes to become more active.
